If you were to take a poll throughout the company and asked them to summarize LiveView Technologies into one word, that word would be: “Growth.” We talk about it often and we dream about it daily. I joined the team in 2017 as employee number 42. Today we total 235! We are on a growth trajectory that will shock most business people. Not only on the outside, but on the inside too! The employee growth and career growth is starting to form in amazing ways!
For example, in 2017 I joined the assembly team at the very bottom level. It did not take long for me to realize that this was a company I needed to commit to. The buzz around the shop was continuous. The passion for our product to be successful was overflowing! We did all we could to strap together and produce the best we could. We had to put our pride in our pockets and learn as many skills as possible to add as much value as we could to the units. As we grew and more opportunities arose, we didn’t have the bandwidth to bring on very many people. So, many hats were worn by many people. This created even more chances for us to learn and develop skills that we needed at the time. Eventually, these would open more doors later.
Fast forward to now. In a role completely different than I started, I have the responsibility of helping our people grow themselves and add value to their careers, lives, and every day work. Ultimately, that’s why I love LVT. The value-add focus is contagious. Yes, we’re growing and that brings blessings and curses. However, the value that is being added to our people, our product, and our mission is growing each and every day. Having the opportunity to work with some of the greatest people that the state of Utah has to offer, seeing the benefit of our service in action, and raising each other up is by far the greatest thing about working at LiveView Technologies.
Not only are we adding value to ourselves, but we are a very unselfish group of people. Our true desire is to add value to our customers. Providing security and peace of mind to those who feel threatened. Is there a better cause? We strive each day to make the world a safer place to live, to enjoy, and to bring value. With each unit that goes out the door, it has the potential to save lives. While we remember that, we at LVT yearn for greater skills, knowledge, and abilities to further the value to not only the rest of the United States, but to the entire world!
